Collection: Musks

A selection of musks and perfumery raw materials useful for building musky bases and increasing softness, longevity and continuity in a composition.

Musks do not all have the same character: some are clean and luminous, while others are warmer, milky, fruity, metallic, powdery or animalic. Their function can also vary: a musk can be used as an olfactory signature, a fixative, a linking material or structural support for the base.

How to choose a musk for perfumery

For a clean musk effect, more transparent and polished materials can be preferred; for a more sensual and natural-feeling base, macrocyclic musks are often particularly interesting; to increase volume and continuity, several musks with different profiles can be combined.

The collection includes true musk materials as well as selected raw materials frequently used to build or support musky accords. Individual product pages provide material type, olfactory profile, function in the formula and available technical data.
