TIBETTOLIDE / EXALTOLIDE
TIBETTOLIDE, also known as EXALTOLIDE, is a macrocyclic musk with a soft, clean and very natural-feeling character. It is one of the most useful materials when the base needs greater roundness without creating a detergent-like or excessively sweet effect.
Olfactory profile
Musky, soft, powdery and slightly woody, with a warm and very discreet skin-like nuance. In formula it tends to blend with the other materials rather than impose itself as an independent note.
In formula
It is particularly useful in musks, white flowers, chypre, leather, tobacco, woods, amber and powdery accords. It can increase volume and persistence, make the base softer and connect floral, woody and amber materials.
With HABANOLIDE it increases cleanliness and brightness; with MUSCENONE® it gains more intimate sensuality; with CASHMERAN® it becomes more textured; with resins and tobacco it develops a warmer, more natural-feeling base.
When to choose it
It is particularly suitable when an elegant, soft and discreet musk is needed, more skin-like and natural-feeling than strongly laundry-like or metallic musks.
