GLOBANONE® 100% Symrise

GLOBANONE® is a macrocyclic musk with a clean, soft and natural-feeling character, a velvety texture and a less metallic presence than drier musks. It is particularly interesting when an elegant musky base is needed to accompany the composition without making it rigid.

Olfactory profile

Musky, clean, soft, slightly floral and balsamic, with a cosmetic and enveloping sensation. The character is more rounded than sharp and integrates easily into different structures.

In formula

GLOBANONE® works mainly on continuity, volume and softness. In florals it can make the base feel more natural and silky; in citrus compositions it helps extend the sensation of cleanliness beyond the top; with woods and amber materials it softens transitions and makes the drydown more uniform.

It is also very useful in complex musk constructions: together with HABANOLIDE® it can balance the dry, metallic side, while alongside AMBRETTOLIDE it can reinforce the sensation of clean, soft skin.

How to work with it

The material can be solid or semi-solid at room temperature. If necessary, the tightly closed bottle can be warmed gently until the product becomes more fluid, avoiding direct heat sources.

GLOBANONE® or a more incisive musk?

When definition and tension are needed, HABANOLIDE® offers a drier, brighter signature. GLOBANONE® is preferable when the musk should add softness, continuity and naturalness without becoming the protagonist.

When to choose it

It is particularly suitable for florals, citrus, clean musk, soft woods and skin-scent compositions when a persistent but discreet, velvety and easy-to-integrate base is desired.
