Collection: Amber Materials

Raw materials and bases with an amber character for building warm, mineral, resinous, musky or woody bases.

In perfumery, “amber” does not refer to a single ingredient. It can describe balsamic and vanilla-rich accords, materials inspired by ambergris, high-impact woody ambers or deep resinous bases.

How to choose an amber perfumery material

For a modern mineral effect, materials such as AMBROX® SUPER are useful; for greater power and diffusion in a woody-amber direction, AMBER XTREME™, AMBROCENIDE or AMBERWOOD® F can be chosen; for a more balsamic and resinous structure, labdanum, benzoin, tolu and olibanum are particularly interesting.

Amber and oud bases can help build an already articulated base more quickly, which can then be modified according to the character of the formula.

Product pages include olfactory profile, role in the formula and available technical data.
