OPERANIDE IFF

OPERANIDE is a dry, creamy and highly diffusive woody-amber-musky raw material. Its particular value lies in its ability to round accords and blend individual components more smoothly, while also adding a persistent amber luminosity.

Olfactory profile

Woody, amber, musky and creamy, with nuances of dry cedar, a Cashmeran-like texture and a light gourmand component. It is softer and easier to manage than extremely aggressive woody-amber materials.

In formula

It is particularly useful in woods, ambers, musks, patchouli, vetiver, marine accords and modern high-diffusion structures. It can increase cohesion, volume and trail, making the base feel more complete and less fragmented.

With AMBER XTREME™ it gains greater drive and contrast; with CASHMERAN® it increases texture; with VETIVEROL EXTRA it becomes drier and more radical; with CALONE or FLORALOZONE it creates a more modern aquatic-woody base; with clean musks it can increase luminosity without losing creaminess.

How to work with it

It is a highly diffusive material and should be evaluated not only on blotter but in the complete composition and over time. At high levels it can occupy substantial space in the base and make differences between materials too uniform.

When to choose it

It is particularly suitable when a creamy, luminous and musky woody-amber structure is needed that also acts as a blender, softer and less aggressive than extreme amber boosters.
