The Oud Rose fragrance base is a professional composition for perfumers, designed for the creation of artistic fragrances and to accelerate formula development. It is a ready-to-use accord in which the characteristic depth of oud is combined with a pronounced rosy facet, allowing the future perfume to be quickly directed toward oriental, woody-floral, and amber registers.

In its olfactory development, the base combines a dense, velvety rose with petal-like nuances and a slight honeyed and powdery softness, together with a dark oud that is woody-resinous, balsamic-warm, and delicately smoky. Within a composition, it gives an intense and authoritative character, reinforces the sensation of volume and sillage, and helps achieve expressive persistence in oriental constructions.

Oud Rose is convenient to use both as a central accord and as a module to intensify the rosy-woody profile of a formula. The base pairs well with amber and musky components, vanilla, saffron, patchouli, sandalwood, resins, and incense accents, allowing the style to be modulated from a softer, more elegant rosy woodiness to a darker, denser, and smokier oud. For more precise fine-tuning, a preliminary trial dilution and dynamic evaluation on mouillette and on skin are recommended.
