Collection: Fougère

Raw materials and bases for building fougère accords: lavender and lavandin, coumarin, mossy, green, aromatic and camphoraceous materials.

Fougère is an olfactory structure, not the smell of a single raw material. The classic model combines an aromatic lavender facet with the dry sweetness of coumarin and a mossy base; modern interpretations can be greener, fresher, woodier or cleaner.

How to build a fougère accord

LAVANDIN, COUMARIN and materials such as VERAMOSS provide useful reference points for understanding its architecture. Petitgrain, salicylates, green notes, camphoraceous materials and fougère bases can then modify freshness, volume and character.

It is useful to build a simple skeleton first and add facets gradually. Product pages include olfactory profile and available technical data.
