Collection: Leather Materials
Raw materials and bases for building leather and suede accords in perfumery.
Leather is generally a constructed accord: it can be dry, green, smoky, tobacco-like, animalic, ambered or soft like suede. Materials such as ISO BUTYL QUINOLINE create a highly characteristic green-leather direction, while SUEDERAL LT works toward a softer suede effect.
How to build a leather accord
For greater depth, leather materials can be combined with tobacco, woods, resins, spices, flowers or citrus notes. Bases such as CUIR DE RUSSIE allow you to start from a pre-built structure and modify it according to the formula.
Many leather materials are powerful and change considerably with dosage. Product pages include olfactory profile, function and available technical data.
