NEROLI BASE

NEROLI BASE is a floral-citrus base built around the effect of neroli: bright, green and slightly bitter. It is useful when an already balanced neroli signature is needed that is more consistent than the variability of a natural essential oil.

Olfactory profile

Floral, citrusy, green and slightly bitter, with nuances of orange blossom, petitgrain, peel and a light fresh component.

In formula

It is particularly useful in cologne, citrus-florals, white flowers, modern fougère, tea, musk and aquatic compositions. It can brighten the opening, connect citrus and flowers and introduce a more elegant freshness than a simple citrus accord.

With PETITGRAIN it gains more green character and structure; with METHYL ANTHRANILATE it becomes warmer and more floral; with HEDIONE® it gains air and diffusion; with bergamot it develops a more classical and luminous direction.

BASE or natural neroli?

The base offers greater consistency and control, with an already built signature. Natural neroli essential oil is more complex and faceted, with variations linked to origin and distillation. The two can also be used together.

When to choose it

It is particularly suitable when a bright, green and easily adjustable neroli is needed, or when the character of natural neroli should be supported without increasing cost or variability too much.
