SUEDERAL LT 2010/2020 IFF
SUEDERAL LT is a leather base built around a suede effect: softer and more velvety than green, earthy leather materials, yet characteristic enough to give an immediate signature of realistic leather, smoke and a light animalic facet.
Olfactory profile
Suede, tanned leather, tobacco, smoke, resin and a light animalic-castoreum nuance. The texture is soft and material, less harsh and more enveloping than ISO BUTYL QUINOLINE.
In formula
SUEDERAL LT is particularly useful in leather, tobacco, woods, musks and oriental compositions. It can build the suede part of an accord on its own or be combined with drier and greener materials to obtain a more complex leather.
With ISO BUTYL QUINOLINE it creates a very effective contrast: SUEDERAL brings softness, volume and suede, while IBQ adds dryness, green facets and tension. With macrocyclic musks the leather becomes cleaner and more skin-like; with tobacco and woods it gains depth.
SUEDERAL LT or ISO BUTYL QUINOLINE?
SUEDERAL LT is softer, smokier and more suede-like; ISO BUTYL QUINOLINE is greener, earthier, more bitter and more structural. The former builds the texture of leather, while the latter emphasizes its character and tension.
When to choose it
It is particularly suitable for leather and suede accords, tobacco, woods and musks when a soft, realistic and persistent leather effect is desired without excessive green hardness.
