Citrus perfumery materials: essential oils, fractions, molecules and bases used to build fresh, luminous and diffusive openings.

Bergamot, mandarin, lemon, grapefruit and orange can be represented by natural materials or supported and reinterpreted with aroma chemicals. Materials such as METHYL PAMPLEMOUSSE or DIHYDROMYRCENOL do not simply replace an essential oil; they can amplify freshness, volume and the duration of a citrus effect.

How to choose a citrus perfumery material

The choice depends on the desired character: bitter peel, juiciness, green freshness, floral facets or a clean effect. Volatility and the way the material connects with the heart of the formula are also important.
