CITRONELLYL NITRILE
CITRONELLYL NITRILE is a citrus-green raw material with a fresh, waxy and slightly metallic character. It is useful when a drier, more stable lemon-green note is needed than a citrus aldehyde, especially in floral and functional accords.
Olfactory profile
Citrusy, green, floral and slightly metallic, with nuances of green lemon, floral wax, fresh herbs and a light aldehydic component.
In formula
It is particularly useful in fresh florals, citrus accords, muguet, colognes and green compositions. It can provide a drier lemon freshness, support white flowers and brighten a composition without introducing the sweetness of CITRAL.
With CITRAL it creates a more complex lemon note; with LINALYL ACETATE it fits well into colognes and lavender; with MAYOL or HYDROXYCITRONELLAL it supports fresher muguet effects; with green materials it increases the leafy component.
How to work with it
It is a relatively incisive material and is best evaluated in dilution, especially when the metallic component is intended only as a nuance.
When to choose it
It is particularly suitable when a drier and more stable lemon-green freshness is needed, with a floral-waxy signature different from CITRAL or natural citrus oils.
Packaging
The product is packed to order; the container may vary depending on the selected format and the characteristics of the raw material.
