LEMON BASE

LEMON BASE is a citrus base built around a juicy, sweet and bright lemon accord. It is useful when a lemon note needs to be obtained quickly with greater stability, roundness and control than a natural essential oil.

Olfactory profile

Citrusy, juicy, fresh and slightly sweet, with nuances of lemon peel, pulp, citrus candy and a light sparkling facet.

In formula

It is particularly useful in cologne, citrus, aromatic, fresh-floral, tea and fruity accords. It can add lift, diffusion and an immediately readable lemon signature without building the accord from several raw materials.

With bergamot it becomes more elegant and complex; with CITRAL it gains greater incisiveness; with LINALYL ACETATE it works well in cologne and lavender structures; with FELLANDRENE / L-LIMONENE or GAMMA TERPINENE it can develop a more terpenic and natural-feeling nuance.

BASE or NATURAL LEMON?

The base offers greater consistency and control, with an already balanced profile. A natural lemon essential oil is more nuanced, variable and sensitive to oxidation, with a more authentic peel component. The two can also be combined.

When to choose it

It is particularly suitable when a juicy, clean and easily adjustable lemon note is needed, or when a natural citrus accord should be supported and prolonged.

The value refers to the maximum concentration in the finished product, not to the percentage of the raw material in the fragrance concentrate.
