CITRONELLOL 950
CITRONELLOL is one of the classic raw materials for building the fresh, luminous character of rose. Compared with PHENYL ETHYL ALCOHOL, it is brighter, more citrusy and more immediate, with a green citronella-like nuance that gives lift to the composition.
Olfactory profile
Rosy, fresh, citrusy and slightly green, with nuances of citronella, lemongrass, freesia and lily of the valley. The character is clean, luminous and more incisive than soft.
In formula
It is particularly useful in rose, geranium, fresh florals, citrus-florals, peony and delicate fruity accords. It can give lift to rose, increase the sensation of fresh petals and lighten floral structures that feel too dense.
With PHENYL ETHYL ALCOHOL it builds a more complete rose; with GERANIOL it increases brightness and rosy character; with HEDIONE® it gains more air; with citrus materials it creates a very natural transition from top to heart.
How to work with it
It is more useful as part of a rose accord than as a standalone note. In small amounts it can simply increase freshness and luminosity; as the dosage increases, the citronella-like nuance becomes more evident.
When to choose it
It is particularly suitable when a fresh, bright and slightly citrusy rose is needed, or when a floral heart requires greater lift and transparency.
Packaging
The product is packed to order; the container may vary depending on the selected format and the characteristics of the raw material.
