GREEN TEA BASE
A green tea accord to shape into your own olfactory signature. GREEN TEA BASE is a multicomponent fragrance base for introducing a green tea theme into your compositions: a starting point to personalise with citrus, flowers, musks and woods, according to the direction you want your fragrance to take.
Exploring the base in a formula
Use it at the centre of a tea composition or as part of a more elaborate accord. To explore a bright citrus interpretation, try pairing it with bergamot; to develop a jasmine tea theme, work with GELSOMINO BASE and evaluate the contribution of HEDIONE. White musks and soft woods offer further directions to explore, from an intimate tea fragrance to a more structured composition.
These pairings are formulation ideas: compare your trials on scent strips and adjust the proportions to your intended result. The base lets you start with a composed accord and focus on how you interpret it within your formula.
Evaluation and use
Evaluate the material on a scent strip at a suitable working dilution, then compare small trials at increasing dosages within your composition. Dosage depends on the formula and application: the available documentation does not specify a recommended olfactory use level. This is a raw material for professional perfumery, intended to be incorporated into a formulation; do not apply it undiluted to the skin. It is not a natural tea extract or a food flavouring.
