YLANG BASE
YLANG BASE is a compound floral base designed to build a solar, creamy and exotic ylang heart quickly. It does not replace natural essential oil, but offers a more consistent and easily adjustable structure, useful when floral volume and tropical warmth are needed immediately.
Olfactory profile
Floral, creamy, tropical, slightly fruity and spicy, with a warm and enveloping sensation. The character is rich and solar, more rounded than green, with a soft narcotic nuance.
In formula
It is particularly useful in ylang, white flowers, frangipani, tuberose, gardenia, solar, floral-oriental and tropical accords. It can increase body and creaminess in the heart, make coconut, peach, banana or mango accords more floral and connect flowers, balsams and soft woods effectively.
With BENZYL ACETATE it gains more fruity brightness; with BENZYL SALICYLATE more depth and softness; with HEDIONE® more air and diffusion; with indolic materials and CIS JASMONE it can become more natural-feeling and carnal.
Base or essential oil?
Natural essential oil offers greater complexity and nuances specific to the distillation; YLANG BASE instead provides greater standardization and ease of use. It can be used on its own or as a framework to enrich with natural materials or key molecules.
When to choose it
It is particularly suitable when a tropical, creamy and solar heart is desired with easy control, or when floral volume needs to be added quickly to a composition.
