WHISKY BASE

WHISKY BASE is a compound base built around an alcoholic, woody and fruity effect inspired by aged whisky. It is useful when a dry, warm liqueur facet needs to be introduced quickly without building the entire accord from scratch.

Olfactory profile

Alcoholic, woody, fruity and slightly spicy, with nuances of whisky, barrel, ripe fruit, toasted wood and a light floral softness.

In formula

It is particularly useful in liqueur accords, tobacco, woods, leather, dark gourmands and amber compositions. It can work as a central accord or as a modifier to add depth, warmth and a barrel-aged nuance.

With RUM BASE it becomes sweeter and more fermented; with tobacco it gains greater depth; with VANILLIN and cocoa it develops a gourmand direction; with cedar, vetiver or leather it becomes drier and more structured.

BASE or a whisky accord built from scratch?

The base offers an already balanced liqueur effect. An accord built from individual raw materials instead allows separate control over alcohol, fruit, wood, toast, smoke and sweetness. The two approaches can be combined.

When to choose it

It is particularly suitable when a recognizable, warm and woody whisky note is needed, to use as a starting point or reinforcement in liqueur and dark-gourmand structures.

The value refers to the maximum concentration in the finished product, not to the percentage of the raw material in the fragrance concentrate.
