VETIVEROL EXTRA

VETIVEROL EXTRA is a vetiver-derived material with a woody, earthy and clean character, obtained from fractions of vetiver. Compared with a complete vetiver essential oil it is more linear, polished and controllable, with fewer rough earthy and smoky facets.

Olfactory profile

Woody, earthy, green and slightly citrusy, with nuances of root, grapefruit, dry wood and a light balsamic component.

In formula

It is particularly useful in vetiver, chypre, fougère, woods, dry citrus and amber bases. It can add structure and persistence, reinforce the root-like component without introducing all the complexity of a natural oil and make the woods in the drydown more defined.

With VETIVER HAITI ORGANIC it increases cleanliness and continuity; with VERTOFIX® COEUR it creates a drier, more modern structure; with cedar it emphasizes woody verticality; with citrus it can build a brighter and more refined vetiver.

VETIVEROL EXTRA or NATURAL VETIVER?

Natural vetiver is more complex, variable and faceted, with earthy, smoky, green and balsamic components. VETIVEROL EXTRA is cleaner and more linear, making it easier to dose when a precise vetiver direction is needed.

When to choose it

It is particularly suitable when a clean, dry and readable vetiver is needed, with greater control than a complete natural essential oil.
