VERTOLIFF IFF

VERTOLIFF is a bright, incisive green material with a signature of crushed leaf, sap and fresh vegetation. It is more aldehydic and tense than LIFFAROME and is used mainly when greater freshness and a sharper green edge are needed in the top and heart.

Olfactory profile

Green, herbaceous, citrusy and aldehydic, with nuances of crushed leaf, unripe apple, clover and a light asparagus-like vegetal facet. The character is bright and defined, but less aggressive than some extremely sharp green materials.

In formula

VERTOLIFF is particularly useful in leaf, grass, green apple, citrus, green-floral and aromatic accords. It can enliven a citrus top, add tension to a floral heart and create a fresh-sap sensation that makes the formula feel more alive.

With ionones and violet-leaf materials it increases the vegetal facet; with fruity esters it introduces a contrast of unripe peel; with aquatic materials it can create a fresher, more natural-feeling effect that is less explicitly marine.

VERTOLIFF or LIFFAROME?

VERTOLIFF is more citrusy, aldehydic and bright; LIFFAROME is softer, fruitier and more natural-feeling. When tension and lift are needed, VERTOLIFF is more direct; when the green effect needs to blend into the heart, LIFFAROME is often easier to integrate.

When to choose it

It is particularly suitable for green leaves, unripe apple, citrus, herbaceous accords and green florals when a clear, bright and slightly aldehydic freshness is desired.
