VERTOFIX® COEUR IFF

VERTOFIX® COEUR is a woody-amber raw material with a vetiver-cedar character, particularly useful when the base needs structure, dryness and continuity without moving toward an excessively powerful modern woody-amber effect.

Olfactory profile

Woody, earthy, amber and slightly leathery, with nuances of vetiver, cedar, root, dry incense and a light violet component.

In formula

It is particularly useful in vetiver, cedar, incense, dry amber, leather, fougère and classical woody structures. It can increase longevity and cohesion in the base, dry out accords that feel too soft and create a natural transition between woods, resins and musks.

With VETIVER HAITI it reinforces the root-like and dry facet; with ISO E SUPER® it gains more volume; with VERAMOSS it develops a more chypre direction; with incense and patchouli it becomes darker and more structured.

How to work with it

It is more structural than explosive. It is best evaluated in the drydown, where its bridging function and persistence become more evident than in isolated evaluation.

When to choose it

It is particularly suitable when a dry woody base is needed with a vetiver-cedar signature and a light amber nuance, more classical and controlled than modern woody-amber boosters.
