VANILLA BASE

VANILLA BASE is a gourmand base built around a soft, creamy and enveloping vanilla. It is useful when an already balanced vanilla signature is needed, more complex and immediately usable than VANILLIN or ETHYL VANILLIN alone.

Olfactory profile

Vanilla-like, creamy, sweet and balsamic, with nuances of vanilla pod, cream, light caramel and a subtle powdery component.

In formula

It is particularly useful in gourmand, amber, tobacco, fruity, white-floral, musky and woody-base compositions. It can round out structures that feel too dry, soften fruits and flowers and give continuity to the drydown.

With VANILLIN it increases the classic vanilla signature; with ETHYL VANILLIN it becomes more intense and gourmand; with BENZOIN it gains greater balsamic depth; with cocoa, coffee or tonka it develops a more dessert-like direction.

BASE or VANILLIN?

VANILLIN is a single molecule and offers a more linear and controllable vanilla sweetness. The base contains a more articulated construction, with greater roundness and already integrated facets. The two materials can also be used together.

When to choose it

It is particularly suitable when a complete, soft and creamy vanilla is needed, or when a formula should be enriched without building the entire vanilla accord from scratch.

The value refers to the maximum concentration in the finished product, not to the percentage of the raw material in the fragrance concentrate.
