TUBEROSE BASE
TUBEROSE BASE is a compound floral base designed to build a rich, creamy and carnal tuberose quickly. Compared with FRANGIPANI BASE it is denser and more narcotic, with a stronger impression of a mature white flower.
Olfactory profile
White floral, creamy, sweet-spicy and balsamic, with nuances of honey, ylang, gardenia, champaca and frangipani. The character is warm, enveloping and more sensual than transparent.
In formula
It is particularly useful in tuberose, white flowers, floral orientals, solar and floral-gourmand compositions. It can become the center of the heart or increase volume and sensuality in jasmine, gardenia and ylang accords.
With HEDIONE® it gains more air and diffusion; with BENZYL SALICYLATE it gains body and continuity; with INDOLE it becomes more carnal and natural-feeling; with lactones, vanilla and sandalwood it develops a creamier and more opulent texture.
TUBEROSE or FRANGIPANI?
TUBEROSE BASE is denser, more narcotic and more carnal; FRANGIPANI BASE is more solar, soft and tropical. The former is better when the white flower needs presence and sensuality, while the latter suits tropical warmth with greater lightness.
When to choose it
It is particularly suitable when a rich and sensual white-flower heart is desired, with a recognizable tuberose that can easily be steered toward solar, amber or gourmand directions.
