50-ingredient kit for starting perfume formulation

A broad, organized palette for anyone who wants to study composition using raw materials from different families and with different functions. The kit makes it possible to practise with citrus, flowers, woods, greens, spices, gourmand materials, fruits, musks, resins, chypre/fougère and aquatic accords without having to build a first collection from scratch.

Format of each ingredient: 5 ml for liquids and 5 g for crystalline or solid materials.

Why start with a broad palette

Studying perfumery means learning not only to recognize odors, but above all to understand what each raw material does in a formula. With 50 materials you can compare different families, build simple accords, work with top-heart-base structure and observe changes in diffusion, structure, sweetness, persistence and texture.

The set includes both individual raw materials and ready-made bases and accords. This makes it possible to compare technical materials with already complex constructions and progressively develop your own palette.

How to study the kit

It is useful to start by evaluating only a few materials at a time and recording perceived intensity, family, evolution and function. You can then build accords of 2–4 ingredients, changing only one variable at a time. Very powerful or solid materials can also be studied in dilution for more precise weighing and comparison.

Individual raw materials may have IFRA limits, labeling requirements or other specific restrictions. The kit is intended for study and formulation; for a commercial product, the current documentation for each ingredient and the finished product must be checked.
