SCLAREOLATE Firmenich

SCLAREOLATE is a transparent floral-aromatic raw material with a clean signature reminiscent of linalool, linalyl acetate and clary sage. It is useful when floral freshness is needed without introducing a note that is too sweet or heavy.

Olfactory profile

White floral, aromatic, fresh and slightly herbaceous, with nuances of clary sage, lavender, transparent lily of the valley and pale wood. The character is natural-feeling, clean and highly versatile.

In formula

It is particularly useful in lavender, citrus, eau de cologne, muguet, fougère, aromatic and transparent floral compositions. It can create continuity between aromatic top notes and a floral heart, increasing naturalness and softness without adding weight.

With LINALYL ACETATE it becomes brighter and more classical; with LINALOL COEUR it gains greater floral body; with bergamot it supports a more natural freshness; with MAYOL or HYDROXYCITRONELLAL it reinforces the muguet component.

How to work with it

It is relatively easy to integrate and can be used either as discreet support or in more substantial amounts. Its best effect emerges when a more refined floral-aromatic freshness than simple linalool is needed.

When to choose it

It is particularly suitable when a clean, aromatic and transparent floral note is needed to connect citrus, lavender, sage and muguet in a very natural way.
