SANDALORE

SANDALORE is a sandalwood-type raw material with a warm, creamy and diffusive character. It mainly reconstructs the milky, soft side of sandalwood, adding volume and substance to formulas without introducing the resinous or spicy complexity of natural wood.

Olfactory profile

Woody, creamy, warm, milky and slightly musky, with soft sweetness and a light amber nuance. The character is rounded and immediately recognizable as modern sandalwood.

In formula

SANDALORE is particularly useful in sandalwood reconstructions, creamy woody bases and florals that need a warm, soft foundation. It can increase volume and trail, soften drier materials and create continuity between heart and base.

It works well with other sandalwood materials: used alone it can feel very linear, while combining it with drier, woodier or spicier molecules makes it possible to build a more realistic and three-dimensional sandalwood accord.

SANDALORE or BACDANOL®?

SANDALORE tends toward a creamier, softer and milkier effect. BACDANOL® retains a woodier character closer to the impression of freshly cut sandalwood. Combining the two can create a more complete accord than using either one alone.

When to choose it

It is particularly suitable when a formula needs warm, creamy and voluminous sandalwood, when a woody base feels too dry, or when floral, amber and musky structures need greater softness.
