ROSE OIL BASE
ROSE OIL BASE is a reconstructed floral base designed to provide a classical, rounded and easily readable rose inspired by an Otto-style rose profile. It is not a natural rose essential oil, but an already balanced structure that makes it easier to build stable and adjustable rosy accords.
Olfactory profile
Fresh rose, full petals, delicate green facets and a slightly waxy, spicy nuance. The character is rounder and more classical than FRESH ROSE BASE, with greater continuity in the heart.
In formula
It is particularly useful in classical rose, floral, powdery, musky, cosmetic and soft chypre compositions. It can work as the skeleton of a rose reconstruction or as a bridging material within a broader floral bouquet.
With PHENYL ETHYL ALCOHOL, citronellol and geraniol it can be made more natural-feeling and rosy; with damascones it gains greater depth and fruitiness; with ionones it becomes more powdery; with musks and pale woods it integrates well into modern bases.
ROSE OIL BASE or FRESH ROSE BASE?
ROSE OIL BASE is more classical, rounded and structured; FRESH ROSE BASE is greener, more transparent and more aquatic. The former is better when a recognizable, central rose is needed, while the latter suits a more petal-like and contemporary effect.
When to choose it
It is particularly suitable when a classical, harmonious rose needs to be built quickly and then adjusted toward greener, fruitier, powdery or musky directions.
