PRUNELLA BASE TYPE

PRUNELLA BASE TYPE is a dark fruity base built around the effect of ripe plum, sweet peach and dried fruit. It is useful when a denser, velvety and liqueur-like plum note is needed compared with fresh and transparent fruity materials.

Olfactory profile

Fruity, ripe, velvety and slightly liqueur-like, with nuances of plum, peach, dried fruit, coconut and soft sweetness.

In formula

It is particularly useful in plum, dark fruits, gourmand, tobacco, amber, modern chypre and intense floral compositions. It can add depth to the heart, increase the impression of ripe fruit and create a natural bridge between fruit, spices and the base.

With DAMASCONE ALPHA it becomes darker and more faceted; with cocoa or tobacco it takes on a more gourmand direction; with rose it builds a deeper fruity-floral effect; with soft musks it becomes more velvety and persistent.

BASE or plum accord built from scratch?

The base offers an already balanced and easily recognizable signature. An accord built from individual molecules instead allows separate control over ripe fruit, liqueur facets, peach, coconut and depth.

When to choose it

It is particularly suitable when a rich, soft and deep plum is needed, more sensual and liqueur-like than a fresh fruity note.
