PHENYL ETHYL ALCOHOL

PHENYL ETHYL ALCOHOL is a classic floral raw material with a rosy, soft and slightly honeyed character. It is one of the fundamental materials for building rose accords and, more generally, for adding continuity and naturalness to many floral hearts.

Olfactory profile

Floral, rosy, sweet and slightly honeyed, with nuances of tea and soft fruit. The character is more rounded and natural-feeling than bright.

In formula

It is particularly useful in rose, peony, classical florals, tea, chypre, light amber and musky accords. It can become the main body of a rose accord or work as a bridging material to soften and unify a bouquet.

With CITRONELLOL and GERANIOL it builds a more complete rose; with BENZYL ALCOHOL it increases softness and continuity; with HEDIONE® it gains more air; with ionones it can develop a more powdery nuance.

How to work with it

Its value emerges especially in the context of a formula. It is not a complete rose by itself, but provides a very useful foundation on which to build freshness, petal effects, fruit and diffusion through other rosy and floral materials.

When to choose it

It is particularly suitable when a soft, natural-feeling rosy foundation is needed to give body to a floral heart without becoming excessively characterful.

Packaging

The product is packed to order; the container may vary depending on the selected format and the characteristics of the raw material.
