OUD GOLD BASE

OUD GOLD BASE is a woody-amber base built to evoke a warm, rich and slightly sweet oud effect. It is not natural agarwood, but a perfumery reconstruction designed to provide a consistent oud signature that is easy to adjust and more controllable in formula.

Olfactory profile

Woody, amber, balsamic and slightly animalic, with nuances of dark wood, resins, leather, vanilla and spices.

In formula

It is particularly useful in oud, amber, leather, oriental rose, saffron, tobacco and intense woody bases. It can add depth, trail and an already balanced structure without rebuilding the oud effect from numerous materials.

With SAFFRON BASE it develops a more leathery-spicy direction; with rose it becomes more oriental and velvety; with LABDANUM or BENZOIN it increases the resinous facet; with dry woods and woody-amber materials it can become more modern and structured.

BASE or NATURAL OUD?

A base offers greater consistency and control, with an already built signature. Genuine natural oud is much more variable and complex, depending on origin, quality and extraction method. The base does not replace it: it is used to build or support an oud effect reproducibly.

When to choose it

It is particularly suitable when a warm, sweet and amber oud structure is needed that is easy to integrate into a formula and less unpredictable than a rare and complex natural material.
