BLACK ORCHID BASE

BLACK ORCHID BASE is a dark, enveloping floral base built to create a rich, soft and slightly fruity orchid effect. It does not reproduce one specific natural flower, but provides an already structured floral framework that can be directed toward more amber, fruity or gourmand styles.

Olfactory profile

Floral, warm, soft and slightly fruity, with nuances of orchid, dark petals, ripe fruit, soft vanilla and a light amber component.

In formula

It is particularly useful in intense florals, floral ambers, elegant gourmands, dark fruits and evening compositions. It can add volume to the heart, increase sensuality in the drydown and create a bridge between flowers, fruit and the base.

With HEDIONE® it gains more air and diffusion; with VANILLIN it becomes more gourmand; with DAMASCONE ALPHA it moves toward dark fruit and rose; with soft musks it develops a more velvety texture.

When to choose it

It is particularly suitable when a darker, softer and more enveloping floral base is needed than magnolia, linden blossom or lily of the valley, with a natural affinity for vanilla, amber and ripe fruits.
