ORANGE OIL SICILIA

ORANGE OIL SICILIA is a natural essential oil obtained from the peel of Citrus sinensis, with a bright, sweet and immediately recognizable character. Compared with bergamot it is less floral and more juicy; compared with mandarin it is generally more linear, sunny and distinctly orange-peel-like.

Olfactory profile

Citrusy, sweet, sunny and juicy, with nuances of orange peel, fresh pulp and a light floral component. The sensation is soft and natural, with a bright and familiar opening.

In formula

It is particularly useful in cologne, citrus, fruity-floral, gourmand and aromatic accords. It can make the top rounder and sunnier, soften more bitter citrus materials and create a natural transition toward vanilla, spices, white flowers and soft woods.

With BERGAMOT it increases luminosity and naturalness; with mandarin it builds a richer citrus top; with vanilla and lactones it can support gourmand accords; with spices and woods it adds warmth without losing freshness.

Character of the raw material

Like many citrus essential oils, it is sensitive to oxidation, light and heat. Its olfactory quality depends strongly on the freshness of the raw material and storage conditions.

When to choose it

It is particularly suitable for cologne, citrus, fruity and gourmand compositions when a natural, sweet and luminous orange note is desired with the sensation of fresh peel and juicy pulp.
