NYMPHEAL GIVAUDAN

NYMPHEAL is a highly diffusive floral raw material with a muguet, aquatic and creamy character. It is useful when a modern, voluminous and persistent lily-of-the-valley heart is needed, with a softer and more aquatic sensation than greener or more aldehydic muguet materials.

Olfactory profile

Floral, muguet, aquatic and slightly green, with nuances of cyclamen, linden blossom, damp petals and delicate creaminess.

In formula

It is particularly useful in lily of the valley, cyclamen, water lily, white flowers, aquatic bouquets and modern florals. It can increase volume, persistence and diffusion in the heart without making the composition heavy.

With HEDIONE® it increases air and transparency; with CYCLAMEN ALDEHYDE it becomes more aquatic and fresh; with MAYOL it gains greater softness; with patchouli it creates an interesting contrast between an earthy base and a bright floral heart.

How to work with it

It is a very diffusive material and should also be evaluated over time: it can seem relatively discreet at first but develop considerable volume in the complete composition. It should not be treated as a direct 1:1 substitute for other muguet materials.

When to choose it

It is particularly suitable when a modern, creamy and aquatic muguet is needed, with greater volume and persistence than more classical or sharper constructions.
