METHYLIONONE BETA COEUR TOCO is an iris-violet family material with a woody, powdery and velvety texture. Compared with simpler ionones, it offers a softer and more enveloping sensation, with tobacco and creamy nuances that make it particularly useful in elegant floral hearts.

Olfactory profile

Iris, violet, powdery wood, creamy and slightly tobacco-like, with a soft tropical-fruity nuance. The character is refined, intimate and less dry than IONONE BETA.

In formula

METHYLIONONE BETA COEUR TOCO can round out iris, violet and rose accords, add depth to powdery florals and create a bridge toward woods and musks. In woody bases it introduces softness; in classical florals it adds a cosmetic effect and a more velvety sensation.

It is especially interesting when an iris that is not too cold or root-like is desired: the creamy and tobacco-like component makes the structure more sensual and wearable.

METHYLIONONE BETA COEUR or METHYL IONONE GAMMA?

METHYLIONONE BETA COEUR tends to be woodier, more tobacco-like and more intimate; METHYL IONONE GAMMA is broader, more powdery and creamier. Both work well in the iris-violet area, but build different textures.
