MANGO BASE

MANGO BASE is a compound fruity base designed to quickly introduce a ripe, juicy and tropical mango effect. Its value lies not only in sweetness: it combines creamy pulp, fruity freshness and light acidity, making the accord more believable and less flat.

Olfactory profile

Fruity, tropical, juicy, soft and slightly tart, with an impression of ripe, velvety pulp. The character is sunny and full, creamier than pineapple and less berry-like than cassis.

In formula

It is particularly useful in fruity, fruity-floral, tropical gourmand, solar and musky compositions. It can become the center of the composition or be used to give volume and juiciness to a more complex fruity accord.

With white flowers and YLANG BASE it gains a more solar and floral dimension; with coconut and lactones it becomes creamier; with citrus it increases freshness and contrast; with clean musks it creates a more modern, less gourmand tropical effect.

How to work with it

At low levels it can add a tropical nuance without making mango explicitly recognizable. At more substantial levels it becomes a central signature and needs balance with acidity, green facets or transparency to avoid an overly compact effect.

When to choose it

It is particularly suitable when a ripe, juicy and soft mango effect is desired for tropical, solar and fruity-floral compositions.
