LYSMERAL
LYSMERAL is a floral-green raw material with a fresh, aquatic and muguet character. It is useful for building transparent hearts of lily of the valley, cyclamen, freesia and white flowers, especially when a softer, less metallic freshness is needed than some aldehydic notes provide.
Olfactory profile
Floral, green, aquatic and slightly aldehydic, with nuances of lily of the valley, lilac, honeysuckle, linden blossom and damp petals.
In formula
It is particularly useful in lily of the valley, freesia, cyclamen, jasmine, lotus and transparent floral bouquets. It can increase heart volume, create a wet-petal sensation and provide continuity between green and floral notes.
With HYDROXYCITRONELLAL it develops a more classical muguet; with MAYOL it gains softness; with CYCLAMEN ALDEHYDE it becomes more aquatic and modern; with HEDIONE® it increases transparency and diffusion.
How to work with it
It is best evaluated in the context of the formula and over time. It can participate in reactions with some materials, and the stability of the composition should always be checked in the final product.
When to choose it
It is particularly suitable when a green, aquatic muguet note is needed that is softer and more petal-like than an accord built only with aldehydic materials.
