CHERRY LIQUEUR BASE

CHERRY LIQUEUR BASE is a fruity-liqueur base built around ripe cherry, almond and an alcoholic note. It is useful when a dark, gourmand cherry signature is needed that is deeper and more complex than a simple fruity cherry note.

Olfactory profile

Fruity, liqueur-like, almond-like and sweet, with nuances of ripe cherry, cherry stone, marzipan, spices and a light balsamic component.

In formula

It is particularly useful in gourmand, amber, tobacco, cocoa, vanilla, leather and dark-fruit compositions. It can add depth to the heart, introduce an alcoholic component and create a bridge between fruit, almond and the base.

With BENZALDEHYDE it increases the almond facet; with RUM BASE or COGNAC BASE it becomes more liqueur-like; with VANILLIN it gains sweetness; with cocoa and tobacco it develops a darker gourmand direction.

BASE or a cherry accord built from scratch?

The base offers an already readable and balanced effect. An accord built from individual molecules instead allows separate control over pulp, stone, almond, alcohol and sweetness. The two approaches can also be combined.

When to choose it

It is particularly suitable when a dark, ripe and liqueur-like cherry is needed, with greater depth than a fresh fruity note.
