LEMONILE™ GIVAUDAN
LEMONILE™ is a citrus nitrile raw material with an intense, bright and highly persistent character. It is useful when a lemon note needs to be more stable and longer-lasting than a natural essential oil, with a slightly metallic, cologne-like nuance.
Olfactory profile
Citrusy, lemony, fresh and slightly metallic, with nuances of peel, verbena, lime and cologne.
In formula
It is particularly useful in lemon, lime, verbena, cologne, aromatic and fresh-clean compositions. It can extend the citrus impression, add brightness and support the opening even as more volatile essential oils begin to fade.
With natural lemon it increases realism and longevity; with CITRAL it becomes more incisive; with bergamot it gains elegance; with clean woods and musks it can create a modern citrus-woody structure.
LEMONILE™ or natural lemon?
A lemon essential oil offers greater natural complexity and initial juiciness, but is more volatile. LEMONILE™ is more linear, powerful and persistent. Together they can build a more complete and stable lemon effect over time.
When to choose it
It is particularly suitable when the lemon note needs to be prolonged and reinforced without relying only on the volatility of natural citrus oils.
