JATAMANSI RECO NAT ROBERTET
JATAMANSI RECO NAT is a Robertet natural reconstitution inspired by the profile of jatamansi/spikenard. It is not Nardostachys jatamansi essential oil, but a construction designed to reproduce its earthy, woody, spicy and animalic character with greater consistency and reproducibility.
Olfactory profile
Earthy, woody, spicy and animalic, with nuances of root, soft leather, dry herbs, warm spices and a light balsamic facet.
In formula
It is particularly useful in chypre, amber, dark woods, leather, fougère, incense and oriental compositions. It can add depth to the base, introduce an unpolished natural-feeling nuance and create a bridge between patchouli, vetiver, spices and animalic materials.
With VETIVER BASE it becomes more radical and dry; with PATCHOULI it gains greater earthy depth; with LABDANUM it develops a more amber and leathery direction; with lavender and spices it can create a darker, more material fougère.
Reconstitution or natural jatamansi?
The reconstitution offers greater consistency and an already calibrated signature. A natural jatamansi material can be more irregular, earthy and complex. The choice depends on the degree of naturalness, variability and control desired in the formula.
When to choose it
It is particularly suitable when an earthy, spicy and slightly animalic base note is needed with a natural-feeling, not overly clean character.
