ISOLA BASE
ISOLA BASE is a compound marine base with a salty, spicy and contemporary character. Compared with a purely ozonic aquatic base, it works through a more complex contrast between sea air, salt, transparent flowers and dry spices.
Olfactory profile
Marine, salty, aquatic and slightly spicy, with nuances of carnation, saffron, cinnamon, rose, cyclamen and lily of the valley. The character is fresh but not cold, with a more material tension than a simple marine accord.
In formula
It is particularly useful in marine, salty, aquatic-woody, musky and conceptual compositions. It can create an already articulated marine signature, give breathing space to woods and musks and introduce an original contrast between freshness, spices and floral transparency.
With FLORALOZONE it gains more air and ozone; with CALONE it becomes more explicitly aquatic; with clean musks it develops a salty, transparent drydown; with woods and woody-amber materials it gains greater structure and persistence.
ISOLA or ARIA SARDA?
ARIA SARDA BASE is more atmospheric, green and Mediterranean; ISOLA BASE is saltier, spicier and more constructed. The first works mainly on space and sea breeze, the second on a more recognizable and characterful accord.
When to choose it
It is particularly suitable when an unconventional marine note is desired: salty and slightly spicy, suitable for modern, unisex and more experimental formulas.
