GERANYL ACETATE
GERANYL ACETATE is a floral-fruity raw material with a rosy, green and luminous character. Compared with GERANIOL it is fruitier and softer, with pear and lavender nuances that make it particularly useful as a bridge between a citrus top and a floral heart.
Olfactory profile
Floral, fruity, rosy and slightly green, with nuances of pear, geranium, lavender and sweet citrus. The character is more ester-like and less direct than GERANIOL.
In formula
It is particularly useful in rose, geranium, lavender, neroli, ylang-ylang, lily of the valley, broom and citrus-floral accords. It can soften the heart, increase the fruity dimension of rose and create continuity between citrus, aromatic herbs and flowers.
With GERANIOL it increases the fruity and green dimension; with CITRONELLOL it makes rose fresher; with LINALYL ACETATE it fits well into lavender and cologne structures; with BENZYL ACETATE it gains greater floral brightness.
How to work with it
It is a versatile material that works well as a modulator rather than a dominant note. Its value emerges especially when a more natural and fluid transition between top and heart is needed.
When to choose it
It is particularly suitable when a floral composition needs a softer, airier rosy-fruity nuance than GERANIOL.
Packaging
The product is packed to order; the container may vary depending on the selected format and the characteristics of the raw material.
