DMBC ACETATE
DMBC ACETATE (Dimethyl Benzyl Carbinyl Acetate) is a floral-fruity raw material with a fresh, green and slightly powdery character. It is useful for adding lift and volume to floral bouquets and for introducing pear, rose and white-flower nuances without weighing down the heart.
Olfactory profile
Floral, fruity, green and slightly powdery, with nuances of green pear, rose, jasmine, peach, plum and a light waxy facet.
In formula
It is particularly useful in rose, jasmine, lily of the valley, geranium, hyacinth, chypre and fruity florals. It can increase freshness and diffusion, create a bridge between fruit and flowers and lighten structures that feel too dense.
With PHENYL ETHYL ALCOHOL it strengthens the rosy facet; with HEDIONE® it gains more air; with PEAR BASE or pear esters it increases the green-fruity character; with BENZYL ACETATE it becomes brighter and more floral.
When to choose it
It is particularly suitable when a fresh, green floral-fruity component is needed that is more structural than a simple pear ester but lighter than very sweet or balsamic floral materials.
