CIS JASMONE

CIS JASMONE is a warm, highly characteristic floral material closely associated with the olfactory territory of jasmine. Neat, it can seem spicy, waxy or even slightly bread-like; at strong dilution, a much more natural, floral and deep signature emerges.

Olfactory profile

Floral, jasmine-like, warm, spicy, slightly fruity, waxy and green. In dilution the character becomes softer and more natural, with a depth that recalls the warm, living side of the flower rather than simply a fresh petal.

In formula

CIS JASMONE is particularly useful in jasmine, tuberose, gardenia and other white flowers. It can naturalize a synthetic accord, add depth to HEDIONE® and BENZYL ACETATE and introduce a warm nuance that makes the flower less linear.

Its value is not limited to “making jasmine”: in traces it can add vitality and naturalness even to compositions that are not explicitly floral, especially when the heart lacks a warm, organic component.

How to work with it

It is best evaluated at strong dilution. The neat material can be misleading and emphasize mainly waxy or spicy notes; at much lower concentrations, its floral and naturalizing contribution becomes clearer.

When to choose it

It is particularly suitable for jasmine, tuberose, gardenia and white-floral accords when greater depth, naturalness and a warm, living nuance are desired in the heart.
