CETYLIA BASE B is a compound floral base by Firmenich built around a luminous, modern and diffusive rose. Its character is more radiant and fruity than a classic Otto-style rose, with a signature that recalls the aesthetics of damascones and contemporary rose constructions.

Olfactory profile

Rosy, luminous, fruity and slightly green, with fresh petals and very broad diffusion. The character is brighter and more modern than waxy or spicy.

In formula

It is particularly useful in modern roses, fruity-florals, musky florals and luminous compositions. It can become the center of a rose accord or be used to add radiance and presence to a broader floral bouquet.

With HEDIONE® it gains air and diffusion; with ionones it develops a more powdery nuance; with damascones it becomes deeper and fruitier; with light musks it maintains a clean, contemporary trail.

CETYLIA or ROSE OIL BASE?

CETYLIA BASE B is more radiant, fruity and contemporary; ROSE OIL BASE is more classical, rounded and closer to the logic of an Otto-style rose. The choice depends on the kind of rose you want to build.
