AMBROCENIDE® Cryst. 600199 Symrise

AMBROCENIDE® is an ultra-high-impact woody amber designed more as a structural booster than as a simple woody note. Even in very small amounts it can noticeably increase radiance, projection and the strength of a composition, working from the top through to the base.

Olfactory profile

Amber, woody, dry, incisive and very powerful. Its character is more energetic and vertical than volume-oriented woody ambers such as ISO E SUPER® or TIMBERSILK™.

In formula

AMBROCENIDE® can reinforce woody and amber accords, but its interest goes beyond the base. At low concentrations it can increase the brightness of citrus and aldehydes, make the musky structure more perceptible even in the upper stages of the fragrance and add greater volume to the floral heart.

It is therefore particularly useful when a formula feels flat or lacks projection. Its strength makes it possible to obtain a noticeable change without indiscriminately increasing the amount of the other materials.

How to work with it

It comes in crystalline form and is very powerful: for micro-dosing and comparative trials, it is often more practical to prepare a homogeneous working solution in a solvent compatible with the formula. This makes it possible to observe precisely the point at which the material moves from an almost invisible booster to a recognizable woody-amber signature.

AMBROCENIDE®, AMBER XTREME™ or ISO E SUPER®?

ISO E SUPER® works mainly on volume and texture; AMBER XTREME™ adds a very incisive woody-amber push; AMBROCENIDE® works with extreme strength on the radiance and projection of the whole structure. They are different tools, not simply stronger or weaker versions of the same effect.

When to choose it

It is particularly suitable when an ultra-high-impact booster is needed, when a woody-amber accord requires more energy, or when the overall radiance of the formula needs to be increased with very small amounts of material.
