BLACK AMBER BASE

BLACK AMBER BASE is a warm, dark and enveloping composed base designed to quickly add depth and volume to amber, oriental and woody foundations. Its value lies in providing an already rich and continuous base that can then be steered toward a more resinous, balsamic, musky or woody direction.

Olfactory profile

Amber, warm, balsamic, sweet and slightly dark, with resinous, woody and vanilla nuances. The character is full and persistent, deeper rather than luminous.

In formula

It is particularly useful in oriental and amber compositions, tobacco, leather, dark gourmands and woody bases. It can add cohesion and persistence, round off drier raw materials and create a richer foundation without having to build the entire amber accord from scratch.

With BENZOIN it gains greater balsamic softness; with labdanum or styrax it becomes more resinous; with woody-amber materials it gains more structure and diffusion; with darker musks or animalic materials it becomes more sensual and deep.

BASE or an amber accord built from scratch?

BLACK AMBER BASE allows you to start from an already balanced mass and focus on the creative direction. An accord built from individual resins, vanilla, labdanum, musks and woods offers greater control, but requires more balancing work.

When to choose it

It is particularly suitable when a dark, warm and persistent amber base is needed that can easily be directed toward woods, resins, tobacco, leather or gourmand effects.
