AMBERWOOD® F 600113 Symrise

AMBERWOOD® F is a substantive, structural woody amber with a more defined and more constructive character than materials that work mainly through volume and transparency. It combines cedar, wood, amber and a sandalwood nuance, becoming a true pillar when the base needs solidity.

Olfactory profile

Woody, cedar-like, amber, warm and sandalwood-like. The note is persistent and recognizable, with a more defined structure than the velvety softness of ISO E SUPER®.

In formula

AMBERWOOD® F is particularly useful for building the foundation of modern woody accords. It can give more solidity to a reconstructed sandalwood, make cedar more present, create continuity between woods and ambers, and support softer materials that on their own may feel too diffusive or insufficiently defined.

It also works well as an element of contrast: next to soft musks it adds a woody backbone; with modern florals it creates a more architectural base; with ultra-high-impact woody ambers it helps build power without assigning the entire structure to a single booster.

AMBERWOOD® F or ISO E SUPER®?

ISO E SUPER® works mainly on space, volume and velvety texture. AMBERWOOD® F is more structural, cedar-like and substantive. When a formula needs a true woody supporting column, AMBERWOOD® F gives a more defined result.

When to choose it

It is particularly suitable for woody, amber, modern sandalwood and structured bases when a recognizable and persistent woody amber is desired without necessarily becoming extreme or aggressive.
