ALLYL PHENOXYACETATE
ALLYL PHENOXYACETATE is a fruity-honeyed raw material with a tropical and persistent character. It is particularly useful for building pineapple, honey, tea and exotic-fruit effects with a floral nuance that prevents the result from becoming too simply food-like.
Olfactory profile
Fruity, honeyed, floral and tropical, with nuances of fresh pineapple, chamomile, sweet tea and a light green-galbanum component.
In formula
It is particularly useful in pineapple, honey, tea, strawberry, citrus, chocolate and fruity-floral accords. In traces it can increase juiciness and complexity; at higher levels it can become a recognizable part of the fruity or honeyed theme.
With ALLYL HEPTANOATE it strengthens the pineapple direction; with honey and tea it creates a warmer, more floral nuance; with cocoa or chocolate it adds fruity contrast; with citrus it can create a juicier, more tropical sensation.
How to work with it
It is persistent and fairly incisive. It is best evaluated in dilution and in the drydown, especially when used as an accent in formulas that are not explicitly fruity.
When to choose it
It is particularly suitable when a tropical-honeyed note more complex than a simple fruity ester is needed, capable of linking pineapple, tea, honey, citrus and gourmand facets.
