ALLYL HEPTANOATE

ALLYL HEPTANOATE is a very powerful, bright and volatile fruity ester with a tropical signature centered on pineapple, peach, apple and wine-like alcoholic nuances. It is particularly useful when a fruity accord needs lift and a more ethereal, diffusive component.

Olfactory profile

Fruity, pineapple, apple, peach, apricot, slightly wine-like and brandy-like, with herbal and terpenic nuances. The character is intense, juicy and somewhat pungent.

In formula

ALLYL HEPTANOATE is very effective in pineapple and tropical-fruit accords, but it can also be useful in peach blossom, magnolia, sweet pea and fruity florals. At low levels it gives lift and a juicier impression; at higher levels it becomes very recognizable and can push the formula toward an exotic, wine-like effect.

It works well with other fruity esters, peach-coconut lactones and green materials because it creates contrast between juiciness, freshness and creaminess. In a floral base it can introduce a fruity nuance without necessarily turning the perfume into a gourmand accord.

How to work with it

It should be dosed progressively: its strength can easily make a composition too pineapple-like or too ethereal. In dilution it is easier to find the point at which it adds brightness and juiciness without becoming the protagonist.

When to choose it

It is particularly suitable for pineapple, tropical fruits, peach, apricot, fruity florals and exotic accords when a bright, volatile and very juicy note is desired.
