Ambrocenide (CAS: 211299-54-6)

Ambrocenide is a woody-amber molecule with extraordinary intensity and luminosity. It can be used in minimal quantities to add elegance and power to compositions, but is also surprisingly effective in high doses.

It is stable in perfumery formulations and functional bases, with the exception of highly acidic products and bleaches.

Olfactory characteristics and applications:

• Powerful and persistent, it acts as an amplifier from the head to the base of the fragrance.
• It gives strength to the woody and amber accords.
• At low concentrations, it gives brightness and enhances the citrus and aldehyde notes.
• It enhances the perception of musky notes right from the top notes.
• Adds volume and structure to the floral heart of the fragrance.
• Good olfactory stability even in the presence of bleach.

Recommended use level: traces up to 2%.
