These branded ingredients are extremely complex mixtures obtained through a reaction involving myrcene and acetic anhydride. The complex was created long before myrcenylacetate became a commercial product and gained popularity due to its extraordinary persistence, justifying its price, which is even higher than that of linalylacetate.
